Experience the ultimate hospitality, in a private riverside retreat that comes with a private chef, a skippered 1930´s gentlemans cruiser and a full-time house manager. Carved into the wooded hillside on the banks of the Fowey River, this secluded home has its own private beach in the heart of Du Maurier country.

Inside

• Style: Plush, contemporary and stylish. Glass and stone walls offer riverside views from every sumptuous room.
• Bedrooms: All bedrooms have riverside views. There are 4 sumptuous en-suite doubles, a TV Room ensuite that can be converted into a double, 1 single (with truckle bed) and a bunk room sleeping 4.
• For relaxation: Get cosy in the library; enjoy the views from in front of the fire in the lounge (or simply from the comfort of your bed); sink into your private bathtub with a view, therapy room & massage therapist available on request
• For recreation: Outdoors your private cruiser awaits to show you the treasures of the area, whilst indoors there is a house library, a 42” plasma screen TV with DVD player, a games room with table football and a 40ft reception area

Outside

Although very contemporary in its glass, wood and Cornish stone design, from the outside its grass roof, natural colours and the way it is carved into the hillside leave the entire structure almost camouflaged by the woods that crawl to the riverside. The glass walls open out to a beautiful sundeck and private landing, whilst upstairs you can relax or do some yoga on the grass roof.

• In-house cuisine: A private chef will prepare traditional Cornish, or modern European, cuisine bespoke to your requirements. Choose to indulge in dinner banquets, breakfast on the balcony and even picnics onboard the boat or on the beaches.
• Eating out: The Old Ferry Inn at Bodinnick serves fantastic local pub food, or ask the skipper to drop you over the river for dinner in one of Fowey’s many gourmet restaurants.
